Specialist Delivery is the part of Responsive Analytix that does exactly that: senior, embedded, hands-on data engineering and platform delivery for organisations running a defined programme — typically on Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery, or Azure — that needs experienced technical capacity for a fixed period.

How it works

David works as the named individual inside the client team for the duration of the engagement. The output is the platform deliverable, not a strategy document or handover pack.

A typical Specialist Delivery engagement looks like:

  • 4–8 days per week over 3–9 months
  • Defined deliverables agreed at the start
  • Remote-first, with on-site presence where the programme requires it
  • Operated as a limited company engagement, outside IR35 where genuinely applicable

The engagement sits cleanly alongside the other four Responsive Analytix services. What David brings

David has delivered senior data engineering and platform work across manufacturing, financial services, facilities management, telecoms, and energy. This includes platform architecture decisions, migration from legacy or on-premise environments to cloud platforms, and ongoing engineering during active programmes. Current production delivery is on Microsoft Fabric for a 700+ employee organisation. He holds Microsoft and Databricks certifications and has working experience across Fabric, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, and Power BI.

The approach is the same as in the consultancy work: direct about what is and is not realistic, focused on the problem rather than the tool, and easy to integrate within an existing team.
